Patricia Feghali saw a mural I created that celebrated the plants and animals of Cincinnati and requested a similar design, but featuring species found in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I traveled to Santa Fe in May of 2024 to paint this mural on the side of her beautiful adobe home and fell in love with Santa Fe. This was truly a dream project in every way, and I am so grateful to Pat for the trust and creative freedom on the mural, as well as being an excellent bicycling tour guide and expert on all the best food in Sant Fe!

The crows and ravens of Santa Fe kept an eye on me the whole time I was painting this mural. It was important to both Pat and I (as self proclaimed nature nerds) that the differences between these two often confused birds be accurate and it turned out to be one of my favorite parts of the mural. I hope the onlooking crows and ravens agree!
